Dr. Mitchell received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine after getting his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Fueled by his love of orthopedic medicine, Dr. Mitchell did his internship in orthopedic medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. He also completed his orthopedic surgery residency there.

He continued his education at the University of Utah, obtaining his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction. This completed his impressive educational journey, along with his certification to the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Along with his impressive educational resume, Dr. Mitchell offers compassionate care to every patient that walks into the practice. He has plenty of experience in both hip and knee treatments, including advanced surgical procedures. 

Dr. Mitchell takes pride in providing his patients with the latest technology and keeps up to date on current research regarding hip and knee treatments. He’s proud to offer robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery as well.

He’s also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Oklahoma County Medical Society, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
